For the fourth straight year, those who make a gift of $25 or more to Illinois State University have the opportunity to receive a pair of Redbird socks. As in years past, this year features an entirely new design.

“These Redbird socks have become really popular. Everyone’s always asking us how to get their own pair,” said Lora Wey, executive director of Annual Giving at Illinois State. “The socks have also become a fun way for donors to show their Redbird pride.”

“I try to wear red every Friday to show my support for ISU and these socks make it easy,” said Marc Bulandr. “Once I receive this year’s pair, I’ll have four options to choose from!”

Most importantly, making a gift in order to receive Redbird socks directly benefits current students through initiatives like the Red and White scholarship.

“Besides being a fun way to show Redbird pride, I’m proud to wear these socks because they symbolize my commitment to supporting ISU. That’s important to me,” Bulandr explains.

Redbird socks are available exclusively to those who make a gift to Illinois State. They are not sold in stores.
