The word SING is in theater lights with cartoon animals surrounding it.As a thank you to loyal fans and supporters, Illinois State Athletics will host a FREE screening of the animated hit feature Sing Friday, June 2, beginning at 6:30 p.m., at Hancock Stadium.

Gates to the stadium will open at 6 p.m., and moviegoers are asked to bring their blankets to sit on the turf (no chairs will be allowed) and grab their spot to watch the fan favorite on the Hancock Stadium scoreboard. Seating will also be available in the east and west bleachers of Hancock Stadium. If there is a threat of inclement weather, the event will be moved inside Redbird Arena.

Concession stands will be open and food will be available for purchase to eat in the east or west bleachers. NO outside food or beverage will be allowed into Hancock Stadium. Free parking will also be available in lots adjacent to the stadium.

Actors Matthew McConaughey, Reese Witherspoon, Seth MacFarlane, Scarlett Johansson, John C. Reilly, Taron Egerton, and Tori Kelly lend their voices to the Illumination Entertainment-animated film that has grossed more than $600 million worldwide. The plot centers on a group of animals that enter a singing competition, hosted by a koala (voiced by McConaughey) hoping to save his theater.
