Enjoy a fun and relaxing day with Desert Redbirds on this summer float trip. Just a short drive from Phoenix in Mesa, Arizona, the Salt River is a recreational paradise that offers “chills and thrills” while floating on the cool and refreshing mountain stream.

Experience the natural wonders of the Salt River, such as wild horses, blue herons, bald eagles, and majestic mountains. We will rally at the tube station at 10 a.m. with bus departure at 10:30 a.m. Plan to arrive early to get through the line and onto the bus.

When: 10 a.m., Saturday, July 15
Where: Salt River Tubing, 9200 North Bush Highway, Mesa

Payment is due upon arrival at Salt River Tubing. Tube and bus shuttle service areĀ $17 per person. You are more than welcome to bring your own tube, in which case, the bus shuttle is $14. Tubes for ice chests are also available. It is up to each person to bring anything they may want to eat or drink, especially plenty of water. No glass containers are allowed.

It is strongly recommended that you wear tennis shoes, water shoes, or other protective footwear to protect your feet from the river’s rocky bottom and while walking to and from your entry and exit points on the river. Also, remember it will be a hot, July day, so sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, and towels to drape over the tubes are highly recommended.
