Recently, Boser taught TEC 120: Introduction to Building Construction, TEC 225: Construction Equipment, TEC 329: Sustainable Buildings and Urban Development, and TEC 430 Project Leadership, a graduate course.

Boser played a pivotal role in the construction management program becoming a major and in securing the American Council for Construction Education Accreditation for the program.

Louis Reifschneider

Technology Professor Louis Reifschneider

Reifschneider retired June 30. He began his teaching career in the Department of Technology in 1998 after working in industry for over 10 years.

After receiving his master’s in mechanical engineering in 1984, he worked for Owens Corning Fiberglass as a research engineer responsible for process improvement of fiberglass manufacturing. After completing his doctorate in 1990, Reifschneider worked for Technalysis, a computer-aided engineering software development firm in Indianapolis where he developed computer programs to simulate plastics processing including injection, compression, extrusion, and resin transfer molding.

His area of expertise is plastics molding, forming, and part design, and his research is related to plastics manufacturing processes and products. In recent years, he has taught TEC 330: Applied Economic Analysis, TEC 293: Mechanical Properties of Materials, and TEC 285: Industrial Plastics.
