The Fitness program with Campus Recreation provides a variety of great ways to exercise. Whether you start off the semester with your favorite group fitness class from last year or try something new, there are plenty of ways to stay active with Campus Recreation’s Fitness program.

Our group fitness schedule is packed with a wide variety of classes in several formats such as cardiovascular, mind-body, and strength.  You can also check out the class description to make sure you find the intensity level that is right for you.  Our instructors can also offer modifications in any class to fit your desired intensity. Find one, or more, that fits both your fitness goals and your schedule.

The Fitness program is also offering specialty classes in late October for those interested in learning how to be a group fitness instructor or personal trainer. These classes are designed for anyone interested in these fitness careers, and will help prepare participants for the corresponding ACE national certification.  Additionally, anyone interested in working in these roles for Campus Recreation is required to complete the course. Cost is just $50 for students and members.

“We’re looking forward to a fantastic semester of fitness this fall,” said Assistant Director of Fitness Jenna Cabrera. “Our team is here to make everyone’s fitness journey an enjoyable one.”
