Those visiting the Bone Student Center (BSC) will see the following changes:

  • A temporary tunnel will serve as the new, alternate entrance and will open into the Milner Plaza hallway/stairwell. The existing first floor east entrance to the Bone is closed.
  • The BSC Courtyard will no longer be open, as workers begin to prepare for work on the space.
  • As of September 30, PIP Printing will leave the Bone for a new home at 1730 Bradford Lane #210 in Normal. Illinois State University Printing Services will open a satellite store located in the space formerly known as the 1 West Conference Room on October 1.
  • On Tuesday, October 3, the north dock will be closed for the day, so building employees must use an alternate route.

Updates on revitalization will be posted weekly at the Bone Student Center revitalization page, as well as on the Bone’s social media accounts on Facebook, @ISUBone; Instagram, @EventsandFoodatISU; and Twitter, @EventsFoodISU.

The Bone will remain open throughout the three phases of the project, which is slated for completion by 2020. More details are available on the Bone Student Center revitalization page.
