Presentations
Yusuf Sarfati and T.Y. Wang, both POL, presented papers at the Annual Meeting of American Political Science Association in San Francisco. Sarfati presented a paper co-authored with Umut Korkut titled “Hegemony and Resistance: Challenging Neoliberal Governmentality under the AKP.” Wang presented a paper titled “Generation and Identity in Taiwan: Change and Continuity.”

Janice Neuleib, ENG, penned “A Fundamental Truth,” “On the Morning Crosstown Train on the Way to Pen Station,” “I’ve Never Been,” and “Cathedrals Make Me Cry” for Cantos, A Literary and Arts Journal.

Amy Robillard, ENG, published the chapter “Changing the Subject” in the book Kept Secret: The Half-Truth in Non-Fiction. She also published the article “Knee Jerk” in Full Grown People, and “Children Die No Matter How Hard We Try: What the Personal Essay Teaches Us About Reading” for the Assay: A Journal of Nonfiction Studies.

Aslihan Spaulding, Richard Steffen, and Dave Kopsell, AGR, and Nweze Nnakwe, FCS, along with former graduate student Lucy Loftus, co-authored “Determining Barriers to Use of Edible School Gardens in Illinois” for the Journal of the American College of Nutrition.
