International students can learn useful tips on how to interact with American employers while learning business dining etiquette at a luncheon from noon-1:30 p.m Friday, October 27, at Hancock Stadium.

Online registration is required by Friday, October 20.

Whether you’re grabbing a quick lunch with colleagues or need to impress a client at a formal dinner, maintaining a professional image is important. However, dining in a business setting can sometimes be tricky. Networking with employers can be even more challenging, especially when cultural norms differ. This crash course for ISU international students reveals American fine dining and business etiquette and allows attendees to practice while dining at the Hancock Stadium Club.

The International Student Career Series was designed by the ISU Career Center and International Student and Scholar Services in order to provide important information on resume crafting, job applications, and visa procedures for all international students who wish to work in the U.S.

The next event of the series will take part in November and focus on resume writing.
