James Applegate, Center for the Study of Education Policy, has been given the Leadership Recognition Award by the Illinois Association for Institutional Research. The award honors Applegate’s work to move higher education forward during difficult times.

Sarah Boesdorfer, CHE, co-authored “Expense of Chemistry Experiments: A Small Barrier to Frequent Use of Laboratory Activities in High School Chemistry Classes” for Chemistry Education Research and Practice.

Valeri Farmer-Dougan and Jeff Wagman, PSY, co-authored “Carrying their own weight: Dogs perceive changing affordances for reaching” for The Quarterly Journal of Experimental Psychology. B, Comparative and Physiological Psychology.
