Logo for the Identity newsletter, with the words Identity: Valuing our diversity

Identity is an e-newsletter sent to all Illinois State University students, faculty, and staff every other week during the fall and spring semesters. The purpose of the newsletter is to highlight initiatives, programs, groups, research, and efforts geared toward populations that are underrepresented on campus. The publication, started in 2005 as the result of a Diversity Task Force, supports the University’s core values of diversity and inclusion as spelled out in Educate  Connect  Elevate: Illinois State – The Strategic Plan for Illinois’ First Public University 2018-2023.
