As Redbird Baseball and Softball get comfortable at home, promotions are set for the weekend series’.

Baseball will host their annual “Stuff the Duff” on May 4 against Bradley at 6 p.m. and will also be able to enter a raffle for a Paul DeJong autographed baseball. The winner will be selected on May 5 at the 2 p.m. game. The first 50 kids in attendance to Friday’s matchup will get Redbird-branded baseball.

There will also be a Red Alert student giveaway with the first 130 students receiving a Redbird dad hat. D.P. Dough will be throwing out the first pitch and throwing calzones to the fans. Admission is always free at Duffy Bass Field.

Redbird Softball will host Reggie’s Kids Club Day on May 5 when they take on Valparaiso in a weekend series. A Cinco de Mayo craft will be offered in the fun zone, along with Papa John’s pizza prior to the game. Team autographs will take place after the second game.

The softball senior class will be recognized on May 6 with a post-game recognition. All nurses are invited to attend the festivities that day as the team will celebrate National Nurses Day. Admission to Marian Kneer Stadium is always free.
