At the next University Club meeting, Frank Beck, faculty director of the Stevenson Center for Community and Economic Development, and Beverly Beyer, senior associate director will present a talk titled “The Stevenson Center’s Role in Community/Economic Development at Home and Abroad” at 4:30 p.m. Friday, April 13, in the Founders Suite of the Bone Student Center. The event is open to the University community.

The talk will inform audience members about the most recent activities of the Stevenson Center at Illinois State University. It will also update members about changes made to the center, such as the addition of graduate students across five degree programs and two colleges. It will also highlight the launch of an undergraduate program that will prepare Illinois State students for Peace Corps services.

All faculty, staff, annuitants, and guests are welcome to attend University Club, which runs from 3:30-5:30 p.m. Continued program support is provided by the Office of the Provost and the Office of the President. Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
