Illinois State University has awarded two individuals with doctoral degrees.

Pamela Sue Laskowski of Decatur received a doctorate in nursing. The daughter of Arlene Delbridge and late Morris Delbridge of Decatur, she is the wife of Bob Laskowski of Mt. Zion, Illinois. She is currently working as a nursing instructor at Millikin University in Decatur, Illinois. Laskowski received a master’s and bachelor’s degree in nursing from Millikin.

Laskowski is a member of the International Society of Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing. She is also associated with the National League for Nursing, the American Association of Colleges of Nursing, the Golden Key Honor Society and the International Honor Society of Nursing Sigma Theta Tau. After her graduation, she intends to work as an assistant professor of nursing at Millikin.

Allison Marie Kroesch of Normal received a doctorate in special education. She is the wife of James Kroesch of Normal. Kroesch is currently an assistant clinical professor at Illinois State. Kroesch received a master’s degree and a bachelor’s degree in special education from Illinois State. After her graduation, she intends to work as a faculty member at Illinois State.
