On November 1, 2018, Civil Service staff will participate in an election of a new member to the State Universities Civil Service Advisory Committee to the Merit Board of the State Universities Civil Service System. Individuals interested in becoming a candidate can pick up a Petition for Candidacy and a Statement of Candidacy starting at 7:30 a.m. Monday, September 24, 2018, in the Human Resources office, Nelson Smith Building 101. The deadline to file the completed forms is by 4:30 p.m. on Monday, October 1, 2018.
To be eligible for nomination and election to membership, a Civil Service employee must be a certified status employee at ISU. Employees must have at least three years of consecutive Civil Service employment at ISU or at any other Illinois institution served by the State Universities Civil Service System.
