Professor Klass recognized for his work with Habitat for Humanity

Emeritus Professor Gary Klass

Gary Klass, an emeritus professor in the Department of Politics and Government, received the Lifetime Achievement Habitat Hero Award and was recognized at the Habitat for Humanity Illinois 2018 Conference on November 10, 2018.

Professor Klass has been active in the ISU/IWU Habitat for Humanity chapter since its inception 24 years ago, serving as faculty advisor and then as a build director in retirement, and dedicating countless hours and many Saturday mornings to building Habitat for Humanity houses alongside ISU and IWU students.
