Eva Duarte Yael Reich meets the citizens of Buenos Aires in the hit musical Evita.

The smash Broadway musical Evita is coming to Braden Auditorium at Illinois State University.

 

The performance for Evita will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 24, 2019.

Tickets range in price from $50 to $75 and are available at the Braden Box Office in the Bone Student Center, and through Ticketmaster.

Evita is the groundbreaking musical by Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber that captures the rise and fall of one of the world’s most glamorous first ladies in this classic Broadway and London hit. Featuring the iconic song “Don’t Cry for Me, Argentina,” the show shines a light on the real-life Eva Peron, who enthralled a nation and enchanted the world as the first lady of Argentina from 1946 until her death in 1952. Winner of the Tony Award for Best Musical, Evita is a high-flying theatrical experience adored the world over.
