Women’s basketball to host “Women Supporting Women” game
The Illinois State women’s basketball team will hold its final home match of the 2018-19 season on Sunday, March 3 as its hosts Valparaiso for a “Women Supporting Women” themed game day.
This game was designed to inspire and empower rising females to pursue their potential, celebrate women in our community and support female athletes to the magnitude they deserve.
Prior to tip-off an open social, co-hosted with women in business and Illinois State athletics, will be taking place in the Legends room in Redbird Arena beginning at 1 p.m. Persons in attendance will be able to mingle with local women that are dominating in their respective careers and have an opportunity to take a professional headshot for free. The pregame event is free for all undergraduate students and attendees with Sunday’s game ticket.
Throughout the game, familiar faces such as Mary Bennett Henrichs (President and CEO of Integrity Technology Solutions) and Emily Reynolds (Founder and Owner of My Lean Body Boot Camp) will be featured on the big screen.
Tickets for all Illinois State women’s basketball matches are available from the Illinois State Athletics Ticket Office. Fans can purchase tickets online at GoRedbirds.com/Tickets, by calling (309) 438-8000, or by visiting the ticket office, located at the north entrance to Redbird Arena.
