Patch Adams, M.D.

The talk by Patch Adams, M.D., scheduled for 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 16, has been moved to Braden Auditorium in Illinois State University’s Bone Student Center. Doors open at 3 p.m. The talk is free and open to the public.

Adams is a medical doctor, clown, performer, social activist, and a nationally known speaker on wellness, laughter, and health care. He approaches the issues of personal, community, and global health with a “zestful exuberance,” according to Time magazine.

The talk is sponsored by Illinois State Department of Family and Consumer Sciences, Fell Trust, College of Applied Science and Technology, Mennonite College of Nursing, School of Social Work, Department of Health Sciences, and Department of Psychology.

The talk was originally scheduled to be in Schroeder Hall, room 138.
