Three celebrated poets will offer readings for the annual SRPR Lucia Getsi Reading Series on Thursday, April 11. Named for the Spoon River Poetry Review’s (SRPR) long-time editor and benefactor, Lucia Getsi, this year’s event will be at 7 p.m. at Ewing Manor.

The event is free and open to the public. A reception will follow the reading.

Featured poets will be Mark Svenvold, Kristin Prevallet, and Jerome Rothenberg.

Rothenberg is an internationally celebrated poet, translator, anthologist, and performer with more than 90 books of poetry and 12 assemblages of traditional and avant-garde poetry, such as Technicians of the Sacred and Poems for the Millennium.
