Comedy and love await at Alumni Night at Illinois Shakespeare Festival

Alumni, friends, and family can register for this year’s alumni night at the Illinois Shakespeare Festival. As part of one of the most prestigious and well-known Shakespeare festivals in the country, guests will be able to enjoy an evening of comedy and love with William Shakespeare’s As You Like It.

Guests will also hear from President Larry Dietz, College of Fine Arts Dean Jean Miller, and Artistic Director John Stark. A backstage tour will also be available prior to dinner with limited spots available (guests must indicate interest in registration).

Saturday, July 27 at Ewing Cultural Center
5:30 p.m., social hour and tour
6:30 p.m., buffet dinner
7 p.m., program
8 p.m., As You Like It performed in the Ewing Theatre

Cost for dinner is $23. Performance tickets can be purchased for $36 at platinum level or $22 at gold level. Register for dinner, performance, or both events by 4:30 p.m. on July 23 online or by calling Alumni Engagement at (309) 438-2586. Season ticket holders should contact the Shakespeare ticket office at (309) 438-2535 to reserve seating with the alumni night attendees.
