Ann Beck

The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders invites all members of the University community to a retirement reception for Chairperson Ann Beck from 3:30-5 p.m. Friday, June 21, in the Brown Ballroom II of the Bone Student Center.

Beck joined the Illinois State University community in 1992 as an assistant professor in what was then the Department of Speech Pathology and Audiology. Her title changed in 2006 when she transitioned to the College of Arts and Sciences as the associate dean. Beck remained in CAS through 2010 where she served as the senior associate dean for Research, Technology, and Facilities. Beck returned to the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2010 as the chairperson of the department.
