Every year, the Redbird community joins forces to make Illinois State University our students’ home away from home.
Thanks to the support of faculty, staff, and community partners, students have a move-in experience that is as seamless as possible. Once moved in, students have a variety of Welcome Week events to choose from. Welcome Week is designed to build connections between students and the campus, assist them in learning about what it means to be a Redbird, and gain some on-site knowledge of the campus and its resources. It is also about having fun!
Check out some of the best photos, videos, and posts shared over the course of this exciting week!

Illinois State students had a blast at last night's Viva Las Vegas event. They tried their hand at casino games and enjoyed fabulous prizes, activities, free food, and a candy buffet! #RedbirdWelcome pic.twitter.com/i7vbqO7xJ4

THANK YOU to all of the volunteers who made our Welcome Week Service Project such a success! With your help we packed 500 backpacks with school supplies for local children through the Back to School Alliance. We filled 2 large vans and one minivan with these school essentials! pic.twitter.com/iaG58K3Lum
