Thomas Burr, associate professor of sociology, will talk about the long history of bicycles in U.S. and world culture at 4:30 p.m. Friday, October 18, at the University Club in the Founders Suite of the Bone Student Center.

Burr has written about the economics and attitudes toward bicycles for professional journals and brings a depth of perspective about the importance of this common conveyance.

All faculty, staff, annuitants, and ISU community members are welcome to attend the University Club from 3:30-5:30 p.m. on Fridays in the Founders Suite of the Bone Student Center.
