Register for the 2020 New Teacher Conference
Save the date for Illinois State University’s New Teacher Conference on June 19, 2020. This year’s conference will take place from 8 a.m.–4:30 p.m. in the State Farm Hall of Business and McCormick Hall.
This conference is designed for Illinois State teacher education graduates who have completed one to four years of teaching and will host sessions on a variety of subjects to provide a wealth of resources for newer teachers. The 2020 schedule will be available later in the spring, but take a look at the 2019 schedule for typical session topics.
The $20 registration fee includes free lunch, free parking, and a substantial kit of supplies to take back to your classroom. Professional development hours are also available for an additional fee. Be sure to register by June 5 to secure your spot.
If you are interested in sharing your knowledge and experience, consider answering the call for proposals and presenting at this conference. You may submit proposals for one or more 50-minute presentations. Submissions will be accepted through February 24, and all presenters will receive a stipend.
More information about the 2020 keynote is coming soon, so be sure to check the New Teacher Conference website regularly to find out more.
