The annual Black Heritage Ball will be at 7 p.m. Saturday, February 29, in the Brown Ballroom of the Bone Student Center. Tickets are available. The cost is $2.

The ball is a celebration of community, culture, and performance. Sponsored by The Black Student Union (BSU) of Illinois State University, this year’s theme will be “The African Diaspora,” a term which celebrates the rich diversity of African and Afro-descendant peoples.

The event will feature food, music, performances, dancing, and a keynote speaker. Formal attire is required.
