The Illinois State University Alumni Association believes in lifelong learning and career development even after graduation. To continue to keep Redbirds connected, educated, and informed, there are many virtual opportunities including a special virtual event with Illinois State’s 19th president, Dr. Larry Dietz.

On June 18, join Executive Director of Alumni Engagement Kris Harding and President Dietz for a light-hearted chat covering his career journey, passion for higher education, interests, and more.

When: Noon-1 p.m. (CDT), Thursday, June 18
Where: From your mobile device, computer, or tablet

To attend the virtual event with Dr. Dietz, register online prior to June 18. Space is limited and early registration is highly recommended.

Find additional virtual activities including webinars, workouts, career services, and more through the Alumni Association virtual events website.

Thank you for the updates on the life and activities for ISU. I’m an old grad and donor living out of state but appreciate my ties with the school. I’m proud to be a graduate and have benefited from my education for many years in the field of education. Keep up the good work. Renay J. (Black) Hardy

Will be teaching an online class at the time of virtual meeting! It is my 59th year teaching! Graduated in ‘61. It was still Illinois State Normal!!

Thank you, Dr. Dietz. I will be on a Zoom call during the virtual meeting to help oversee the Covid Response Fund for the nonprofit organizations in our county. I just wanted to say that I think you and your staff are doing a great job. You make me proud to be a Redbird.
