June 1 marked a technology milestone at Illinois State University. The newly created Office of Technology Solutions unifies several campus departments to create a robust and efficient team of technology professionals. Administrative Technologies, Learning Spaces & Audio/Visual Technologies, Tech Zone, and the newly created Office of Advanced Technology Support for Faculty join together to serve both the academic and administrative functions of the University. Most importantly, these groups will continue their commitment to excellent service, collaboration, and innovation. While many are familiar with these departments, the Office of Advanced Technology Support for Faculty will work closely with academic partners across campus to assess, understand, and ultimately improve the faculty teaching and research experience with central systems.

While some things change, others stay the same. As Redbirds begin returning to campus, Endpoint Support is already on-site to provide the assistance needed for supported staff to get back in their offices and get running. On-site work will be done by appointment, and staff will adhere to all current coronavirus (COVID-19) recommendations to ensure employee safety, regular cleaning, and all social distancing guidelines.

On June 15, the Technology Support Center (TSC), will be right beside them to assist with your technology needs. The TSC supports the entire campus community for all campus-offered technologies.
