Lyndsie Schlink displays the three UPAA awards she won in June.

ISU photographer Lyndsie Schlink wins 3 awards from University Photographers’ Association of America

Illinois State University Senior Photographer Lyndsie Schlink ’04 took home three awards June 19 from the University Photographers’ Association of America (UPAA) during its digital awards banquet.

Schlink’s work was recognized in the UPAA’s annual publications competition:

  • First place for Athletics swimming and diving and women’s soccer team posters.
  • First place for the Office of Admissions’ Viewbook publication
  • Third place for Redbird Scholar magazine’s fall 2019 and spring 2020 covers.

This year’s haul brings Schlink’s UPAA awards total to 15 since she joined University Marketing and Communications as the University’s photographer in 2007.

The UPAA is an international organization of college and university photographers concerned with the application and practice of photography as it relates to the higher education setting. The awards banquet was held at the conclusion of this year’s weeklong digital symposium co-hosted by Utah Valley University and Brigham Young University.
