Dining makes preparations for fall 2020
Event Management, Dining, and Hospitality (EMDH) continues to prepare for the fall semester, strongly committed to protecting the health and well-being of the campus community. New policies and procedures have been created to ensure safety remains the department’s highest priority.
Marketplace at Linkins and Watterson Dining Commons resumed regular hours of operation on Friday, August 7. Due to occupancy limitations and physical distancing requirements in the dining centers, a temporary satellite dining location, Dining Express at the Circus Room, will open on August 17 at the Bone Student Center and feature a limited menu of favorite dishes from the dining centers for carryout.
In order to continue to offer high-quality dining experiences to each meal plan holder, both dining centers, as well as the satellite location, will be open to meal plan holders only for the fall semester.
Faculty/staff, university visitors, and guests of meal plan holders will not be able to dine at the three locations but will be welcome to visit the retail dining venues on campus.
Retail dining venues at the Bone Student Center, including McAlister’s Deli, Qdoba, Starbucks, and The Landing are currently open, and Starbucks at the Student Fitness Center plans to open on August 17.
