Stoicon, the leading international conference on stoicism, was hosted by Modern Stoicism on Saturday, October 17.

The conference changed from being held in Toronto, Canada, to a virtual format due to the global pandemic. Instructional Assistant Professor Erik Rankin was selected to present his article, “Practice Political Civility,” during the round table hosted by Peter Limberg.

“Civility is not the same as agreement or absence of criticism. It is about treating others with decency by listening and accepting responsibility for our rhetoric,” Rankin said.
