How can I apply my military experiences on a resume? How do I apply the skills I learned to a civilian job? These questions and many others are commonly asked by ROTC, veterans, and military-connected students.

Career Services is pleased to host the Veteran Employer Panel to help Redbirds answer those questions and more. Held virtually from 5-6 p.m. on Thursday, November 12, attendees will discover from a panel of veterans (consisting of employers and alumni) how their unique military experiences and transferable skills acquired from various experiences enhanced their career choices and career success. They will also explore how to showcase their skills and experiences on a resume and during interviews to enhance their career readiness skills.

Veterans will share stories about their personal and professional journeys and the networks that influenced their career paths, and offer guidance around best practices for transitioning to internships and career positions.
