Jamie Koch ’14 is an Illinois State University alumna from the Department of English’s publishing studies program who completed a production internship at the Publications Unit and currently works as project manager for online assessment content in McGraw Hill’s Connect platform at McGraw Hill Education in Chicago.

As the COVID-19 pandemic drastically changed the world of education, faculty and staff across the College of Education (COE) jumped into action not only to adapt how they prepare future educators, but also to provide current educators relevant knowledge and tools to be successful in their “new” classrooms.

Each year faculty and staff across the college work on recruiting future teachers for our undergraduate programs, with many of the efforts guided by Kelli Appel, Director of Recruitment and Transition for the college. She provided updates about how undergraduate recruitment is going during these uncertain and ever-changing times.

COVID-19: International Perspectives

The Office of International Studies and Programs and the Mennonite College of Nursing are partnering to present the Spring 2021 International Seminar Series with the theme of  COVID-19: International Perspectives.  The series will feature speakers from around the world describing how COVID-19 has impacted their field of expertise. Each one-hour seminar will include time for the presenters to respond to audience questions.
