Although Homecoming 2020: Redbirds in Flight could not be held this past fall in person, the University is moving forward with rescheduled virtual activities. Homecoming: Redbirds in Flight will now take place April 5-11 with virtual or socially distanced events. During the weekend, Redbird football will play North Dakota at Hancock Stadium.

The first-ever spring Homecoming will offer Redbirds around the globe an array of virtual programming, like the 5K and parade, to celebrate the University’s storied history and the traditions, memories, and spirit that bind us together. More details on the activities will be announced at a later date and posted at Homecoming.IllinoisState.edu.

Alumni are also encouraged to nominate their Redbird legacies (between the ages of 5 and 9) to be considered for spring Homecoming royalty.

Homecoming 2021: 100 Years is set to be held this fall from October 11-17.
