Although Homecoming 2020: Redbirds in Flight could not be held this past fall in person, the University is moving forward with rescheduled virtual activities. Homecoming: Redbirds in Flight will now take place April 5–11 with virtual or socially distanced events, including the traditional decorating contest with a twist.

This year the campus community can enter the workspace decorating contest. This offers an opportunity for faculty and staff to decorate a unique work/office space whether it be on campus or at home. All campus employees are eligible and encouraged to show off their Redbird spirit. Categories this year include best spirit wear, more spirited pet, best use of Reggie, best use of the Homecoming theme, best ISU spirit, and more. Need some inspiration? Participants are asked to submit three to five photos of their uniquely decorated workspace by 4:30 p.m. on March 24. Judges will review entries and announce winners on the Homecoming website and on the Homecoming Twitter page on April 2.
