Internet sensation Keith Habersberger from The Try Guys will kick off Illinois State University’s annual Communication Week from April 5-8. 

Habersberger ’09 will be holding a virtual Q&A session with Illinois State students at noon April 5 on Zoom. Access the talk through this Zoom link. Students can submit questions for Habersberger via this form.

COM Week is the annual professional development event held by Illinois State University’s School of Communication. This week-long virtual event will show students how to “Zoom Past the Limitations.” Featuring panels, keynotes, and special events, COM Week provides opportunities for current students to network with and learn from accomplished alumni and professionals working in a diverse array of communication professions.

Habersberger 
Habersberger and The Try Guys have amassed more than 10 million YouTube subscribers, written a book, made a documentary, hosted the Streamy awards, and created a successful merchandise line. Known especially well for his food content, he launched “Keith’s Chicken Sauce – A Not-Too-Hot Sauce for Chicken and Other Stuff.” In addition to his work with The Try Guys, Habersberger is a founding member of the comedy band, Lewberger, which was a finalist in NBC’s “Bring the Funny,” in 2019. Habersberger graduated from ISU in 2008 with a bachelor’s in theater and acting. After college, he worked at Buzzfeed as a video producer, where The Try Guys were born. Habersberger joined forces with Ned Fulmer, Eugene Lee Yang, and Zach Kornfeld to create videos of them trying new things. After becoming an internet sensation, The Try Guys parted ways with Buzzfeed and founded their own content creation company, 2nd Try LLC.
