The Office of Parking and Transportation announces parking permit sales for the 2021-2022 school year. Parking permits can be purchased online beginning at 9 a.m. on the following dates.

  • Faculty/staff can purchase permits online beginning June 28.
  • Commuter students can purchase permits online beginning July 12.
  • Returning residence hall students can purchase permits online beginning July 19.
  • Incoming/freshman residence hall students can purchase permits online beginning July 26.

Faculty, staff, and students can order their parking permit and manage their parking account through the online Parking Portal. Additional notifications will be sent to University emails prior to permit sales, and customers can also reach the portal from the home page of the parking and transportation website. To purchase a University parking permit on the Parking Portal, customers must login with their Central Login information, ULID, and password.

Online payment options include credit card and debit card. University faculty and staff who wish to participate in payroll deduction must order their permit online to schedule deductions. Individuals who wish to pay with cash or check can purchase their permit at the Bill Waller Parking and Transportation building beginning August 2, 2021.

Please note the following changes this school year:

The All Garage Red Reserved Zone permit is being re-named. It is now called the All Garage Zone permit. The zones and the permit allowances remain the same. The signs in the zones will be changed to black and white to reduce confusion with faculty/staff parking lots.

The South Campus Upgrade permit remains an option for those purchasing a faculty/staff or student commuter surface lot permit. This permit will allow additional parking on the top floor of the South University Street garage. Customers must first purchase the surface permit and return to the Parking Portal to purchase the South Campus Upgrade separately. Both parking permits must be displayed when parking on the top floor of the South University Street garage.

More information about parking permit prices, descriptions, and eligibilities can be found online. Follow our Twitter or join the Parking and Transportation email listserv to keep up to date on the latest parking and traffic announcements.
