One of the more popular alumni and friends events may not be in person, but that does not mean Redbirds can’t cook with a Redbird chef from home and learn how to make a delicious summer salad. Join Illinois State Family and Consumer Sciences graduate student Claire Brown as she teaches viewers how to make Greek orzo salad.
The virtual event is free to attend. Participants can register now through June 17 online. Questions can be sent to Juliana Nelson, assistant director for Alumni Engagement.
In the following days, once registration is completed, guests will receive via email the salad recipe, grocery list, and a step-by-step video to follow along to prepare a new entrée to add to summer fun.
