Ex Libris, the platform that hosts Milner Library’s catalog and other functions, has an upcoming planned outage while they move their data center that will impact library users for approximately 24 hours at the end of May.
Milner Library’s online catalog, online access to Milner/I-Share accounts, and the ability to place requests for local or I-Share materials from the library’s website will be unavailable from approximately 8 p.m. CST on Saturday, May 29, to 8 p.m. CST on Sunday, May 30. People trying to connect to impacted services during the outage will see a message about the services being temporarily unavailable. Once underway, updates on the outage can be viewed on Ex Libris’s status page.
Anyone with any questions can contact their subject librarian or access assistance through the Virtual Reference Desk Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, 1 to 5 p.m.
Please note that Milner Library will be closed on Sunday, May 30, and Monday, May 31, in observance of the Memorial Day holiday.
