The ISU Percussion Ensemble, under the direction of Dr. David Collier and Dr. Ben Stiers, will present their fall concert at 7 p.m. November 7 in the Kemp Recital Hall on the campus of Illinois State University.

“After almost two years, the Percussion Ensemble is excited to be back performing in Kemp Recital Hall for a live audience,” said Collier. “The unique interaction of rhythm and sound color will be explored fully in this concert.”

The program will feature marimbist Dr. Andy Harnsberger as guest soloist.  Harnsberger is associate professor of music and percussion coordinator at Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee. Harnsberger will be the soloist in Unbreakable, which he composed for solo marimba and percussion ensemble.
