Illinois State University’s Redbird Arena will be the setting for the Sixty Six Games Expo presented by State Farm from October 9-10. Those attending the University Open House on October 11 will have free expo admission for the weekend.  

The Sixty Six Games is Central Illinois’ largest sanctioned League of Legends tournament. Top college programs from around the nation will battle for $10,000  in prizes. Attendees can watch the collegiate competition, hear from local and national esports experts at an esports clinic, and take part in Super Smash Bros. open tournament. See the full schedule.   

Students and guardians registered for the ISU Open House and attending the expo on October 11 will have the chance to learn more about the University’s Redbird Esports program and the many curricular and extracurricular opportunities available on campus. Register for the Open House.  

Tickets will be available at the door day-of the event at the North entrance to Redbird Arena. Contact the Box Office at (309) 438-8000. Tickets are $10/day for adults, $5/day for students.   

Owned and operated by the Bloomington-Normal Area Convention and Visitors Bureau/Sports Commission, the expo is being hosted by Illinois State for the first time this year. Support for the event comes from Lenovo, providing 80 Legion Gaming Systems; Dell, providing 20 high-end laptops; CIRBN; Redbird Athletics, and Tech Zone at Illinois State.
