Veterans Day is November 11. It is the day reserved in the United States to honor those who have served our country in our Armed Forces.

Veterans Day began after World War I. It was decided to honor our Veterans every year on the anniversary of the Armistice that ended World War I, on the 11th day, of the 11th month of 1918. So let us commemorate our veterans in the Department of Technology at Illinois State University, and across the United States and the world. We owe them all a great debt for their sacrifices and service protecting this nation and all our freedoms enshrined in the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights.
