Mennonite College of Nursing at Illinois State University will host a virtual research, evidence-based, and innovation symposium on March 24 from 4–6 p.m. This event is co-sponsored by Sigma, Xi Pi Chapter.

Symposium attendees will learn about a wide range of current research and evidence-based projects that have been completed or are in progress. Participants will be able to choose from six breakout sessions with topics about acute care, safety, mother-baby, mental health, education, and primary care and prevention. The breakout sessions will provide an opportunity to speak to the authors and pose questions. Clinical Assistant Professor Kate Peterson MSN, RN, CPN, CNE, will give a podium presentation on the wellbeing of the nursing faculty.

This event is free and attending RNs will receive 1.75 contact hours.
