Photo gallery: 2022 recognition ceremonies celebrate Illinois State graduates

Graduation recognition events commemorate the accomplishments of graduating Redbirds and their families. These events provide an opportunity for graduates to also honor those who have helped them achieve their big milestones while also centering their cultural traditions and values. Each event recognizes the journeys, achievements, and successes of Redbird graduates, and is separate from the traditional commencement ceremonies.

Below are photos from events held this spring by Nuestros Logros, which honors Latinx graduates, and MAPS—which recognizes Middle Eastern, Asian, Pacific Islander, and Southeast Asian graduates—at the Multicultural Center and by Umoja, a celebration of Black graduates, at Hancock Stadium.
