Drag Royalty will host the Finale Drag Show, celebrating their first year as a registered student organization at Illinois State University, at 7 p.m. April 16, 2023, in the Brown Ballroom of the Bone Student Center.
Tickets are $5 and can be purchased here.
The show will showcase many of the year’s regular performers and close out a successful school year for the new student organization. Each member will perform one number to show the audience their growth as a drag performer.
A large part of the proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to The Drag Defense Fund, a charity campaign organized by the ACLU. The fund will be used to fight the drag ban in Tennessee and keep LGBTQ+ rights and freedoms protected in local, state, and national legislatures.
Hosting the show is Drag Royalty’s president, Rebellion. She is joined by Portia Lynn Snaps, Izzy Fierce, Lola Zahor, Selena Rivera, Angelica Diamond, Iona Sparkx, Azula Lynn, Jackie Hammer, Niki, and Scarlett DeVille.
