Illinois State University’s Creative Technologies Program (CTK) and Gen Games student club will host this year’s Games Showcase event on Thursday, April 27 in the Circus Room at the Bone Student Center. The event brings together student-made games from CTK’s Game Design Sequence, Gen Games student club, and Game Development student club, as well as the larger Illinois State University community. Visitors can stop by anytime between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. to play more than 20 board, card, mobile, and video games, all made by Illinois State University students, faculty, and staff. In addition to the games, visitors will be able to view examples of other student work from the CTK program such as digital art, UI/UX designs for games, interactive installations, and videos.
A recap of previous showcase events can be found on CTK’s YouTube channel. Also, games from past years can be seen or downloaded from the program’s Itch.io and Behance pages.
