The Mary and Jean Borg Center for Reading and Literacy hosted professional development sessions for literacy instruction for local educators throughout the spring semester.

The University offers a wide range of professional development sessions to improve employees’ knowledge and skills. There will be 20 different training sessions from February 15 to May 24. Sessions are open to all Student Affairs staff across campus. Registration is required at tiny.cc/pdregistration. Topics range from “Using Technology to Improve Your Daily Organization” to “Supporting Undocumented Students and Families on Campus.” The next session is titled “Campus Labs Crash Course: Baseline & Compliance Assist Basics and Tips” by Erin Thomas, director of assessment and engagement initiatives.
