On Sunday, April 7, 2013, at approximately 3:00 a.m. two male students were confronted and battered in ISU Lot F53 (College Ave. and Main St.) by a group of 3 to 5 unknown males after leaving a party in the area. One of the students was placed in a choke hold while his wallet and cell phone were taken from him. The suspects fled in an unknown direction. The students reported minor injuries, but refused medical treatment.

The alleged suspects were described as black males. One suspect was wearing a gray Bulls hat, and another was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and jeans.

This incident remains under investigation by the Illinois State University Police Department. Anyone with information should contact the Illinois State University Police at (309) 438-8631.
