Hello Student Affairs Alumni and Friends!

I am excited to have the privilege of serving as Illinois State’s Vice President for Student Affairs. Since arriving in July, I’ve had the opportunity to meet many students, staff, and alumni. I’m learning what you already know, the Division of Student Affairs at Illinois State is providing students with exceptional opportunities to grow and develop through rich educational experiences that reach every corner of campus. I’m committed to continuing the standard of excellence for the student experience as well as building greater relationships with you, our alumni and friends.

I hope through this newsletter you are able to stay up-to-date on what is happening on campus and see how the support of alumni and friends are making a difference for students. I encourage you today, on the first day of classes, to think back on your ISU experience and share your story with us at alumni.illinoisstate.edu/studentaffairs/ through our Reconnect Form.

I look forward to the opportunity to meet you during our upcoming events featured in the newsletter. In the meantime, follow me on Twitter (@LevesterJohnson) to see what’s happening on campus.
