Hello, Redbirds!
The fall semester is flying by at Illinois State, with our 100th Homecoming celebration just around the corner! I hope you will be able to join us for a few of this year’s festivities, as we return to some of our favorite in-person traditions.
As part of this year’s Homecoming schedule, we are thrilled to dedicate the new Multicultural Center with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, October 15. The center has already brought tremendous energy to campus since its opening this fall, and it’s been great to see our students utilizing the spaces and services that were designed specifically with their needs in mind. We’re excited to invite our alumni and friends into this amazing new space on campus.
We will also be recognizing our 2020 and 2021 Redbird Proud Young Alumni Award recipients during the Homecoming celebration. I encourage you to read about these talented alumni, as well as our outstanding 2021 Hall of Fame inductees who were honored during our Steve and Sandi Adams Legacy Hall of Fame ceremony earlier this month.
We look forward to seeing you at our 100th Homecoming celebration next week!
Go Birds!
