Every month, the Administrative/Professional (A/P) Council highlights an A/P staff member through a series of questions as another way for the Illinois State University community to connect. This month, readers get to know Steve Suess, Director of Convergent Radio Broadcasting, School of Communication.

The Administrative/Professional Council will host a Breakfast and Basil event on Tuesday, May 28.

For nearly half a century, the Civil Service (CS) and Administrative/Professional (AP) Councils have served as key shared governance bodies representing the staff of Illinois State University.

Faculty and staff who have a dependent child attending Illinois State University should start submitting a tuition waiver application to Human Resources on June 1st.  This will ensure that a credit is received on the first tuition bill.  

The annual CMS Benefit Choice Open Enrollment Period will run May 1-31, with elections effective July 1. A Benefit Choice Fair will be held Tuesday, May 14, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., in the Prairie Room, Bone Student Center.

Illinois State University undergraduate students whose parents are current Administrative/Professional (A/P) staff members or retirees are encouraged to apply for the A/P Council Scholarship.
